This site presents data from the World Bank Open Data programme in a form that is faster to read than a chart builder.

What we do

• Reproduce World Bank indicator series exactly as published.
• Calculate simple derived statistics from those series: change between the first and latest year, compound annual growth rate, and the highest and lowest recorded values.
• State the unit and the definition on every page.
• Link every figure back to the original dataset.

What we do not do

• We do not modify or interpolate the published values.
• We do not forecast. Every number on this site is a historical observation.
• We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or speaking for the World Bank Group.

Accuracy and corrections

Values are fetched from the World Bank API and refreshed periodically; the revision date shown on each page is the lastupdated field returned by the API for that dataset. If you find a figure that does not match the World Bank's own publication, the World Bank's figure is the correct one — please report the discrepancy so it can be fixed.

World Bank Open Data is licensed under CC BY 4.0, which permits commercial use with attribution. Attribution is given on every page and in the footer of this site.
